Atsushi Ayabe is the Head of Corporate & Fund Operations of Japan Activation Capital.

Prior to joining Japan Activation Capital, he was the Head of Operations of J-STAR Co., Ltd., a Tokyo-based mid-market private equity firm, where he oversaw all aspects of corporate and fund administration.

Prior to J-STAR, he worked at Nomura Holdings, Mizuho Securities, and a real estate fund management firm. At Nomura Holdings, he spent approximately 10 years in treasury, covering group-wide cash management, liquidity risk management, and Basel regulatory compliance, including nearly four years seconded to Nomura International plc. in London managing EMEA-wide funding. 

Mr. Ayabe received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
